B365V2.77 - Insert clever title here

So I am sitting in Mellon Square again, it is my post work relaxation period and I just can't get a bead on how I feel.  Just kind of blah, where being sad would be easier than being happy.  There isn't alot to be sad about though, I hit up the new Crazy Mocha this morning, getting a mocha latte, and while the barista was not Ruby, this girl was good in her own right.  She even made a fern leaf out of the foam on top of my latte.

I hit up hot dog guy today as well, getting a hot dog with spicy mustard, relish and onions.  He actually made it for me while I waited, none of that getting an old dog off of the grill for me. Fresh meat, yum!  Heck even my mojo was still working somewhat today, I bought one $5 scratch off ticket and pocketed $25.  That should keep me from diving into my bank account until well after I get paid this week.  Which is good, I want to put away some more money for the vacation I will never take.  Target goal is $2500. And I am a ways out from that number yet.  I suppose if I started dragging my ass into work a little earlier I could make some extra coin, which would help the cause quite a bit.  But like this morning I woke up early to a pounding headache at 6:30 am, so I laid back down hoping I could sleep it off somewhat, but that dull thudding stayed with me all day.  I keep aspirin in my desk, I popped three of them and I was hoping the hot dog might help, I get headaches when I haven't eaten recently, but as much as I like hot dog guy it didn't help today.

Not that I am doing myself any favors by sitting downtown as opposed to going to get something to eat, so I best get a move on in a homeward direction.  I can only sit in the park for so long before I either have to go home or go back to work.  I have a cigarette order waiting in my email for me, so it doesn't matter which way I go, I will still be working.

One of the gospel guys downtown is trying to "educate" me.  Not Jesus on a Stick guy, but someone who is represented by the same union, Sidewalk Preachers Local 101.  Save me Jeebus indeed.

Okay caught the bus just before my head was dunked in holy water or something and managed to get back to Oakland, where I made a couple of detours, first being to Szechuan express where I got a styrofoam container filled with combo lo mien goodness, then I stopped by Uncle Jimmy's after that and sat at the bar eating my food and washing it down with a beer.

Eventually I made it home, placed the cigarette order that was in my email, then I got a phone call from work.  Asking about the court hearing on Wednesday, I nearly forgot about it, probably because I wasn't witness to anything that happened.  Apparently a couple of weeks ago we had someone in the store who was trying to go to jail.  He had already stolen one of those fake vagina things from the porn shop upstairs, then he came down to our store and asked us to call the police on him, then proceeded to try to walk out the door with magazines he didn't pay for.  Needless to say the police were happy to oblige and took him away, now I get to go to a court hearing on Wednesday.  The joys of my job never cease.

Great, it is starting to rain and I am sitting outside again, hoping at first to see some more meteors, but that will not happen tonight, the sky is way to cloudy.  Good thing I didn't walk to the park tonight, I am sitting outside my apartment.  I see some flashes of lightning off to the east now, and some breaks in the clouds overhead so maybe I will catch a shooting star.

Oh well I should get back inside and try getting some sleep, it promises to be a long day tomorrow.

  2. I jokingly call the photo "my Stonehenge" because you can only get that shot maybe two days a year, where the sun comes up right over the sidewalk and isn't blocked out by the bridge directly above it in the distance. I am not gifted with a camera, but it was one of those shots that I really liked after I took it.
