Okay, I am officially live at PNCpark for the Pirates Dodgers game. Stand by for more updates, or check back frequently, whichever
Pitching matchup is official, Gerrit Cole for PGH and Clayton Kershaw for LAD
7:08 pm and we are underway
Dodgers lead off the game with a single
Followed by a great double play, walker to Lang to Morse and we have two outs, by all means check for highlights on Walkers play on that ball.
Cole records his first strikeout with a 97 mph fastball and after half an inning we have no score.
First pitch to Gregory Polanco is a solo home run and the Pirates lead 1-0.
Kershaw makes a bare handed stop on a chopper up the middle to get the first out.
Andrew McCutchen walks ad we have one on and one out.
Aramis Ramirez grounds into an inning ending double play. After one it is PGH 1-0.
Gerrit Cole strikes out Andre Ethier and Grandal and Puig to line out and we are through 1.5 here with the score PGH 1 LAD 0.
Kang strikes out to lead off the bottom of the second inning, Morse then lined out to first base, followed by a weak ground out to third base and we are done with two innings.
Foul pop out starts off the top of the third inning.
Joc Pederson doubles to right, runner on second with one out. Kershaw grounds out to second, Pederson to third.
Jimmy rolling walks, runners on first and third. Rollins steals second.
Adrian Gonzalez grounds out to third but the throw to first pulls Morse off the bag and a run scores.
Followed by a line out to second, and we are tied at one in the third.
Hot dog cannon time. Once again meatatarians win as they aren't shooting tofu dogs.
Chris Stewart with a lead off bunt single in the bottom of the third.
Cole tries to bunt the runner over and ends up popping out.
Polanco singles to right but makes too wide a turn at first and get thrown out going back to base. Stewart to second. Marte pops out and after three it is 1-1.
Top 4 here and it starts with an Ethier walk. But Grandal grounds into a double play. That's a Chik Fil A double for us bitches, free sammiches.
Pug strikes out, Coles fourth K of the game. Through 3.5 it's tied at 1.
