Karaoke Friday - Cattle call

For the second straight week, I am posting something that I just saw for the first time.  This one I hadn't even heard before, which means either I live under a rock, or this song just wasn't that popular.  I am leaning towards the second option.  If this was popular, then the Mayans may be right about 2012 being the end of civilization, because there is nothing redeeming about this song.  Well, it does have one redeeming quality, that being it is this week's karaoke selection.  Enjoy!!!

In the year of the lord, 1994

  1. LOL, just saw your "inspiration" video for the blog title. OMG, I don't believe it. A blond Southern woman.... I was once blond (not that blond) and I'm obviously a southern woman. This makes me cringe! She completely didn't get the question or was expecting a different one or .... I am at a loss for words.

    1. I remember the first time I saw this, it was actually by accident. I had gotten home from work on a Friday night and had clicked on the TV, more as background noise than anything else, when I saw they were at the question and answer stage of the Miss Teen USA pageant. Again I wasn't paying much attention, well, until this answer starting coming out and I was just thinking to myself this weekend can't go by fast enough, because this was perfect material for the radio show Monday morning.
When I went looking for a new title to my Multiply page (I was never all that happy with my original title after coming over from Yahoo 360), I remembered this bit of verbal eloquence and thought to myself, there is a title in there some place. And it sort of fits the blog too, because I tend to fill the page up with lots of nonsense and jabbering about things which I clearly know to little about.
