Ya gotta give him credit, tho, Matt. In a state full of corruption, this is really very vanilla.
ReplyDeleteNot that its not impeachment or "punishment-in-general" worthy, its just tame compared to what some of his predecessors have been up to.
And when it really comes down to it, Politics is dirty, and I'm sure he just put words (and wiretap) to something that's always happened off the record.
Thank god there's a lake separating me from that state and all its ugliness. : )

ReplyDeleteIt's not that he is caught on tape, it is that he was stupid enough to challenge them to tape him in the first place. I am all for political corruption of the ever so cool Rico Suave type that you are like "Damn, they tried to pull that off." The governor's is more of the Larry, Moe and Curly variety.
