Wow, I'm certainly glad you posted it jus for urself! What a beautifully powerful voice. I enjoyed it, thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteI was actually looking for some Dead Can Dance on Youtube the other day, I like them because they aren't typical radio fodder and I happened to run across this particular song. They have two band members that sing for the most part, the female above and a male who has a Sinatra-esque quality to his voice (at least to my ears), though he doesn't sing anything from the Sinatra catalog to my knowledge. I just picked this because it is rare you get a live performance that sounds that good.
ReplyDeletethnx matt, I actually love this kinda of music, question have u ever listen to Celtic ? Like Loreena McKennitt or Enya, to me this sounds pretty close
ReplyDeleteI'll have to listen when im not at work darn you for not actually posting something I can read and pretend to be working ;-)
ReplyDeleteI listen to some Celtic, more than anything, it is just whatever catches my particular ear, Dead Can Dance is one of those bands. Probably more of an acquired taste than anything, but I like them.
ReplyDeleteYoull have to post something from Dead Can Dance, I'd like to hear it.
ReplyDeleteto me Celitc has an aweome soothing effect. Just lie back, close ur eyes and let the music take over.
ReplyDeletePantera has the same effect on me lol
ReplyDeleteWell, here is a little Dead Can Dance, mind you this time I went with the male singer as opposed to the female,
ReplyDeleteI prefer the female vocalist of this genre of music. But the male was "ok"
