If I were a betting man

Since it is Saturday and I am off, I figured I would offered my guesses, not unlike the great Karnac, for this Saturday's Top 25 college football games against the point spread.  By all means, do not use this as a gambking tool, I could easily miss each and every one of these.

The spread is for the ranked (or higher ranked team) in case you were wondering.  Also of note, Oklahoma (#10) is off, therefore not listed and Ole Miss (#4) played Thursday night and lost.  What you have here is the remainder of the top 25.  Later today we will see just how bad I sucked.

  1. First loss - Cincinnati 28 Fresno State 20 - UC failed to cover the 17.5 points, record is 0-1 for the day.
First win (and upset pick) South Florida 17 Florida State 7 - USF wins despite being a 14.5 underdog, record is 1-1.

Georgia Tech 24 North Carolina 3 - My first favorite to actually cover, GT easily wins by more than 3, record 2-2

  2. Kansas 35 Sothern Mississippi 28 - Technically I am 5-0 in picking winners, but if I am a gambling guy (thankfully I am not) this would be another loser as Kansas didn't cover, record 2-3

LSU 30 Mississippi State 26 - And it continues, winnner, missed the cover, record 2-4
